Bastet’s Shadorma Prompt
1.
My childhood
spent in the villa
the monsoon
drip drop rain
as it fell over the arch
aiming for the sea
2.
The lamppost
glowing in the dark
bright at night
calmly taught
lesson in perseverance
with light in the night
3.
An earthquake
that ruined everything
old villa
now remains
crooked arch and the lamppost
glowing like ever
4.
My window
lamppost stands like a
sentinel
forever
alone guiding through the night
master of the dark.
