THE ROCKING CHAIR
The rocking chair
Made for people to think
about life
As it goes
up
down
to and fro
The fear creeps in
future
people over think
turns them into pessimist
It’s the power of the chair
like a pendulum,
the mind goes
still stuck on same issues.
As a child, in movies I saw
the chair taking people places
yet nowhere
They were stuck on the same thought
no action
It was when I saw him
on that chair
vexed with thoughts
and the fears came alive.
